Vancouver Halloween Parade and Expo is a festival founded by the event division of International Health Council, a non-profit organization, in collaboration with Vancouver International Halloween Festival Society and local artists, artisans and performers. About 600 volunteers donated their time and skills to the first festival in 2014.
Artistic Vision
To advance the public's appreciation of the arts by presenting and producing visual arts, dances, music and performances inspired by both modern and ancient mythologies and stories from diverse cultures, to develop intercultural understanding and create new art works while reducing blood and gore themes to celebrate and sustain Halloween heritage in family friendly and healthy direction.
Public safety is our first priority. The following rules and regulations are strictly enforced on the Parade and Expo entry.

- No blood or gore.
- No hateful costume or body parts.
- No firecracker or explosive.
- No metal weapon or sharp object (please use plastic or wood).
- No replica gun (please use toys significantly smaller or larger than the real version).
- No nudity or adult material

Halloween Parade
The family-friendly parade with marching bands, music, dances, performances, horses, vehicles and floats. It's the time when supernaturals and superheroes from films, comics, anime and games all come alive.
