The concept behind the Eleven Twelves: take four veteran players from the Vancouver scene, pick a specific era (the mid '60's) a specific genre (fuzz garage rock 'n roll) be sure to play them loose but tight, and at a tastefully boisterous volume. choosing only incredibly fun danceable tunes rendered at a breakneck pace, the 11 12's deliver with dual guitars, organ, bass, drums, harmonica, saxophone- and three part harmonies- all performed on vintage gear of that era.

Two Apple Tobacco has been called "a bright beacon of weirdness" (Shawn Conner, Snipe News) and "a wonderfully creative band" (Adam Graham, Evolution Radio). Through their thought-provoking and genre-bending rock music, Two Apple Tobacco has gained a reputation for putting on an "explosive show" (Joseph Sloan, Sloan's Bones) and has been voted runner-up for Best Indie Band (Unsigned) in the Georgia Straight's Best of Vancouver guide in 2016 and 2017. With their home base in downtown Vancouver at Tyrant Studios, Two Apple Tobacco has a long standing tradition of performing at each concert a song by the indefatigable Frank Zappa, the biggest source of inspiration for the blistering instrumental performances and satirical lyrics the band is known for. Owing to the energetic music, satirical nature of the lyrics and the connection to the music of Frank Zappa, whose Halloween shows in the 60s-80s are the stuff of rock n roll legend, Two Apple will put on a very exciting rock show for the audience!
