Stan Hyde is the Chief Examiner for International Baccalaureate film in his professional life, as a fan he has been involved in fandom since the Torcon 2 Worldcon in 1973. He also travels the world in search of Giant Monsters. Besides writing articles on film (and also a published comic story and some short fiction), Stan has been a part of Godzilla fandom for years and is one of the planning members of G-FEST convention. This annual celebration of Godzilla and Japanese science-fiction films in general has been held in Chicago every summer, for the past 23 years. Last summer he planned a tour for North American fans to go to Tokyo to see SHIN GODZILLA, the newest Japanese Godzilla film. As well, as part of Vancouver's MONSTER ATTACK TEAM - CANADA, he is part of the organization of demos at many events at which the mysteries of styrene, resin, and vinyl model making is explained. From kaiju to Mecha, and monsters to spaceships, they are Halloween guys who believe they can build anything SO LONG AS IT ISN'T REAL.

The RainCoast Clown Troupe was founded in 2002. This "alley" was formally established in 2005.
As of 2010, some of our members belong to Alley #24952 of the World Clown Association (WCA) as well. In 2013 we became a lifetime alley of the World Clown Association. Presently 2 of our members sit on the board of WCA. The WCA holds an annual convention. In March of 2016 it will be in Florida. All are welcome!

Vancouver Puppet Theatre is performing an original and educational puppet theatre plays for children of 2-14 y/old.
We have number of theatre plays to accommodate every age.
Our plays for younger audiences (2-10 years old) are mostly based on the traditional folktales (The Wolf and Seven Kids, Three Little Pigs, Kolobok, etc.) but we are flexible and ready to create a show specifically for your event.
We could also customise our existing shows to accommodate your requirements. Our plays are fun, dynamic and could be connected to the BC Curriculum easily.
The Carnival Band is a community music project with ten years of history, based out of Commercial Drive’s Britannia Community Centre. Musical direction is provided by Ross Barrett and Tim Sars.
Instrumentation for the band includes all range of brass, woodwinds, drums, percussion, accordions, and of course voice. Stage shows also allow us the opportunity to join our bass, guitar, fiddle, banjo, piano, and keyboard playing friends.
Many of our favourite tunes are originals by band members. The remainder of our monstrous repertoire includes samba, calypso, swing, afrobeat, jazz, funk, disco, and traditional music from around the globe.
Trip the Light Dance and Performance Company's name originates from the expressions coined by John Milton, William Shakespeare and Procol Harum meaning to dance nimbly and lightly in an imaginative manner. Trip the Light is a dance and performance company led by Natalka Lewis and based out of Calgary AB. Founded in 2013, Trip the Light creates original dance and dance theatre work with the intention of blending multiple art mediums and genres such as human statuing, collaborations with musicians, gallery installations, dance on film and fashion. Trip the Light's work is shown across Canada in theatres, street festivals, corporate events and other various venues. Some recent performances include dancing on stage with Weird Al Yankovic, performing alongside Fire Circus Performers with Ballyhoo entertainment in Calgary & Las Vegas, promoting Coors Banquet at the Calgary Stampede, on the runways of MakeFashion and Beakerhead & performing at the Fluid Dance Festival & Soulocentric Showcases. We are excited to present new works at the Vancouver Parade & Expo!
Freddy Fuddpucker is a North Vancouver based comedy group that specializes in parades, open houses, community festivals, service club pancake breakfasts and barbecues. The band has won dozens of awards and prizes in the hundreds of parades and festivals in which it has participated in its 21 year history.
Steampunk is the combination of Science Fiction and The Victorian Era. The popularity this genre has gained is pushing it back into the limelight. Jules Verne, Wild Wild West and Metropolis are only a few examples. Back in 2010 our Steam Team had already made it’s mark with it’s unique Murder Mystery Format ( Involving the audience without obligating the audience) and now is expanding to do much more. Their flexible performances mixed with this incredible format can work for events, festivals, parties and photos. Bringing your guests and audience into the age of Steam!
Yasmina and Adalat have always danced, and love to share their passion for dance with their audiences. Their performances are the highlight of many events, which makes them among the most sought after performers in the Vancouver area. Yasmina Dance Company won the Best Entertainment 2013 Award at the South Asian Wedding Awards. Yasmina Dance Co. includes her talented dance partner Adalat Omar. They perform locally and internationally at theatre shows, festivals, events, and receptions. They have also featured in television and film. Adalat was a dancer in the TV series Shimmy, and was the lead dancer in the movie Kayan.
Their performances include diverse props, costuming, and music. With a love for Bollywood Fusion, they have many choreographies on Hindi classics and the latest film songs. They also perform Egyptian style Belly Dance to traditional Arabic music.

Bringing joy to every occasion, they delight in connecting with their audiences with their pure passion for dance. 'Asi-Somos, quartet was established in Vancouver in April 2014. The four diverse performers of
Asi-Somos, have played/performed regularly, since1998 in Latin folk groups and choirs for
West Coast audiences.
The Quartet mainly performs songs and music, taken from the vast Venezuelan folk
traditions that encompass Spanish, natives, and
African influences, providing a style of music that is engaging yet unpredictable and haunting.
