Bring your handmade costume to the Cosplay Exhibition during Vancouver Halloween Parade and Expo on Oct 13, 2019, and you will receive up to $200. This is an exhibition, not a contest, so every qualified participant will receive a reward to support your handmade costume.

Qualification
No purchase necessary. You just need to meet these three qualifications below, and participate in the Cosplay exhibition with your costume to receive rewards:
have completed a form of guided learning (school, mentor or the Internet);
have an online photo album or video showing the process of making your own costumes or props.
at least 70% of your costume is handmade.
Rewards
The amount of reward depends on the quality of your costume and are divided into three classes:
Star Artist: $200 cash
Chief Artist: $100 cash
Emerging Artist: Free $50-$100 gifts such as video games, free grocery cards, and/or tickets.

Costume and Prop Regulations
Public safety is our first priority and this is a family-friendly festival. The following rules and regulations are strictly enforced during the festival.
No blood or gore.
No hateful costume or body parts.
No firecracker or explosive.
No sharp weapon (please use plastic or wood, if you have to use metal, please cover the sharp blade or tip).
No replica gun (please use toys significantly smaller or larger than the real version).
No nudity

Complete the Registration Form below
Bring your costumes or props to the screen session to prove at least 70% of your costumes are handmade. Please come to Theatre C300, UBC Robson Square, 800 Robson St, Vancouver and check in at 2:45 PM on Sunday Oct 13).
Show your costumes on the stage during Cosplay Exhibition.
Optionally, you can also show your costume on the grand Halloween Parade. Please arrive before 10:30 AM Sunday Oct 13 at the front of 828 Drake St, Vancouver (intersection between Drake St and Howe St). See Parade Assembly Instruction.
You will receive complimentary Pass to access all ticketed programs.
