The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own) was formed on October 12, 1883 in Victoria and New Westminster, and is older than the City of Vancouver in which it serves today. The first authorized regimental band was formed on November 9, 1883. With the conversion of the Regiment from Artillery to Rifles in 1900, the Band evolved into a brass band and a drum and bugle corps. Bugle-Majors have been part of the Regiment's heritage ever since.
They are the Star War villains. The 501st Legion within the Star Wars universe are among the 5000+ members of a worldwide organization that participates in community events and raises funds for charities in over fifty countries. They are the galactic bad guys that do good!

Ogopogo or Naitaka is a cryptid lake monster reported to live in Okanagan Lake, in Kelowna. Ogopogo has been allegedly seen by First Nations people since the 19th century. The most common description of Ogopogo is a 40 to 50-foot-long (12 to 15 m) sea serpent.
The benefits of being a member of the British Columbia Motorcycle Drill Team are many. A few that come to mind are a wonderful feeling of accomplishment after a successful performance or practice, the friendship and camaraderie that develop through participation, a great opportunity to contribute to communities through participation in parades and demonstrations, a way to enhance the public image of motorcycling as a healthy acceptable form of entertainment, an opportunity to showcase your riding skills and most of all, an unequaled opportunity to take giant steps in the improvement of your riding skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment.
Our membership includes face painters, magicians and other children and family entertainers in addition to clowns. We meet monthly in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. In addition, we teach balloon twisting monthly in a cafe in White Rock (no charge). We participate in 6 to 8 parades each year as well.

Anime Revolution is a three-day convention hosted in the Vancouver Convention Center, Canada. Catering to a wide range of activities, exhibits, panels, and performances. These include art, animation, comics, costuming, cultural displays, dance, gaming, musical performances, and others.
Times Past Entertainment cast members are professional, courteous, on time, safe and in character with consideration to the client's needs. We work with some of the most dedicated and professional people who grow and perfect their art through every opportunity. Many of us also have other skills. Graphic design, costuming, props, set construction, writers, video editing... Just to name a few. If you have multiple needs to see your product to completion, talk to us. We may be able to Create a package deal. We also have many connections in other entertainers and in the entertainment industry. We've teamed up on many projects. With connections also in unique areas like black powder weapons (we've shot with those with years experience) and stage sword fighting, we can, with the right conditions, liven up the place.

Shift Dance Academy is excited to start our 4th season with the North Shore community. We are a faculty of passionate, dedicated, and accomplished instructors, where young dancers will be encouraged, challenged and inspired in every class!
It’s time to make the "shift!". SHIFT is a North Shore studio were we teach our students not only a dance syllabus but also how to engage in their community through sharing and expressing their passion of dance. We volunteer and preform at many community day events through out the year.
The Vancouver Anime Convention Society is a registered non-profit organization in British Columbia that plans and operates the Anime Evolution convention and related events. Membership is open to anyone interested in volunteering for the convention but is not a requirement to help out. Joining the society, however, gives you benefits such as the right to vote in elections and have a voice in the decision-making.
At Encore Dance Academy we offer exceptional programs for dancers of all ages and ability levels from all over the Tri-Cities area including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody plus surrounding areas from New Westminster to Surrey, BC. Our dancers have performed at venues such as GM Place, Disneyland, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, QE Theatre, Golden Spike Days, and the amazing 2010 Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremonies.

On October 1st 1962 2381 RCACC was formed. In 1979 the Cadet Corps found its affiliation being changed. 2381 became affiliated with the Irish Fusiliers of Canada, following the two previous Cadet Corps to hold this honour. Effective on the 1st of January 1981 the sponsorship was shared with the Vancouver T.B. (Pacific No. 44) Branch, The Royal Canadian Legion. On 25 June 2002, The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own) was officially amalgamated with the Irish Fusilier of Canada from the supplementary Order of Battle to form a new Regiment known as The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own). As such, the name of the Corps changed to 2381 BCR (Irish Fusiliers) RCACC.

The event originally launched in 2006 with 62 zombies at “Thrill Toronto” and fueled epic worldwide excitement which grows in quantum leaps every year. Last year over 6400 zombies in 22 countries around the world took part, breaking yet another world record. And now for the first time ever THRILL THE WORLD SURREY is here!
Vancouver Chinatown BIA Society focuses on improving Chinatown's safety and cleanliness, expanding and strengthening its promotions and events, and working with the media and external partners to improve Chinatown's public realm, public perception and relations.
Freddy Fuddpucker is a North Vancouver based comedy group that specializes in parades, open houses, community festivals, service club pancake breakfasts and barbecues. The band has won dozens of awards and prizes in the hundreds of parades and festivals in which it has participated in its 21 year history.
